Calibrating your Dota account is the most critical service of all, because your starting rating for the season depends on the calibration result. If your account isn't new (it was calibrated in a previous season), the calibration result can range from −1000 to +1000 relative to last season's rating; the exact range is unknown and changes from patch to patch.
